Nesting habits doesn't change at all. The male did all the building whilst the female are but inspectors to the cosie place in the pole. Probably another 3 years the pole would decompose and topple over. Then no more starling, no more dollar bird.

Towards evening, a male pair was observed to steal from another's nest! Initially, I thought they were moving but on second thought, it appears that they were sharing materials!

The dollar birds are back with a vengence and this year we could possibly see two breeding pairs. How I miss my super tele! Stupid N's super tele so freaking X! Must tahan!

Blue crystal

Interestingly, this piece of optics continues to amaze me with its optical performance. Like crystal. Never seen before for a long time since the 85mm canon ball. But I still need to find a FF replacement and an ultra bright glass to complement it.
