Honey-creeper

Gives me the creeps not. In fact, just gets me excited observing these dropdead gorgeous feathers.
P.S. You can see the perfectionist in Jeff, although he himself is never perfect in any way. He always wonder how his subjects may be portrayed as art. At least now he knows a little, or perhaps he knows none...when he learns all, he forgets all. Let's hope this day won't come forth so soon.

My candy

P.S. about that accredition thingy... seems to be abandoned for good... just not attractive... jeff is more than paper... i m jeff, no more, no less...

my faith

by offering incense to the idol in the background, the subject in the foreground is paying respect to her idol. it's an extension of her spiritual being, trapped in a wooden body. each is a flesh and blood, an embodiment of filth. only the spirit is pure, for the rest are insignificant. for when one passes on, the spirit is preserved in perpetual.
P.S. on the seventh day of each trip, my mind falls into a chasm. all is bright, all is dark. a door awaits for jeff, patiently waiting. With the passing of each day, A.M. regresses into the nether region of his brain, in comes M. R..
On this day, Jeff puts a name to his character: "Dyslexic" or m i?:)

I see because I wish to see. I hear because I wish to hear. I cry because I wish to cry. Cry not my boy, ye shall shed no tears. u r what u r.

lichen

she painted me a picture
P.S. e she in context refers to mother nature. every now n then, i'll write n speak in riddles n sometimes, even my friends are left in e muddle. tis my little secret with her since young. fun to play hide and seek with her. she painted her art work and Jeff is out there to seek them. when he finds them, he is often amply rewarded. if u wonder why Jeff never get lost in a forest, u must learn he has a guardian watching over him. she leaves tiny footprints that only Jeff can see.
In normal language, it's termed primal instinct.

Magic hour

Didn't realise the magical aspect of this image until i viewed it on my screen. I knew there was magic somewhere but just couldn't pinpoint. At an accidental ISO1000 setting, the details and noise level (or lack of) is simply stunning. Coupled with the sinnuously shaped trunk and available light, it was twilight hour once again. I was elated beyond words.
Now I see. I have to learn to use my heart to see.

eye contact

i m watching u, always watching u (monster inc.)
P.S. there is yet another observation pertaining to homosapien behaviour that baffles me. why would a person want to present itself in an image or next to a bird as if it's the very subsistence of living itself?

he moves through e fair

to recreate an image i saw somewhere. this time only a make shift homosapien

watchful eye

being a bird is tough. being a captive bird is even tougher. it has to endure the countless harrassment from curious homosapiens. in particular, kids like to disturb them. aunties like to molest their feathers.
it just take an incident to wipe out the whole species. how about a delicious eyeball meal, any bird pls??

little cormorant

Afternoon preening. e sky was kind. overcast but bright. highlights was great but not perfect. colors was stunning. see no nasty reflection? i lov bright over cast.
my mind was focused. image was preconceived. when e right moment comes, i tranformed it into eternity.

reminescent

back to the window fetish... added a companion mr broom
Jeff has snapped out of the bird photography cycle. he now sees avians as another form of living creature part of mother nature. he feels the spirit of the great earth and sees only one life form.
regardless, i will still remember the crimsons to my name

AAO II

photography is a form of lonely art. tis a path i have chosen, tis a path I have threaded, tis the eye through which i viewed the world, tis an expression for an eccentric lone ranger. from air I pluck a whisper, from air I see an image, to a shutter I depress.

against all odds

from the cold stone bed sprout a sign of life...tis the wonder of nature
my question to u is: would u prefer to be a flower in the wild or a cultivated specimen in a laboratory? ur choice is what sculpted ur personality.
ye who ventures afar sees all great and small...
Another metorphor to pass...

lai fu II

strangely, i have been making images of dogs in run-down states of late and named them Lai Fu...

this image reflects a part of me that is full of sympathy for living creatures great & small, locked in the nether world of my consciousness...

when emotions break loose, my image gets flooded...
