My Ass II
after more than 7yrs of torture, my GPU finally expired. One by one, the components of my once all powerful brain broke down. Still deliberating whether to get a replacement. Yonah would be nice, Conroe would be pretty. 2GHz(x2)/4GB RAM/160GB HD(x2)/ATI Rxx would be sweet for lightroom. But my poor piggy bank is screaming for attention again. another grand may be disappearing.
another grand to september china trip. maybe i'll get my .2 next month but who knows.
see, i grew a tail!

what lies beyond
sometimes it takes a little luck to find that door. when found, u still have to locate the key to unlock the mystery. it may manifest in 1001 forms but only need some lady luck to come along and show you the way. there are no fairies, there are no gods and there are no ghosts. but there are humans. I can't help but feel fasincated when some folks trot around and gets really jittery about an event that is about to occur in the near future and make about everyone's business to be really jittery as well. so each day, i see a different aspect of the people around me. each is an entity and slave to their environment.
Jeff found this door on this day. the key is in his hands. he only needs to unlock it to peer into his future. he's being very naughty of late, like a little gobling going around teasing those unweary to amuse himself. Slap slap Jeff, for you should not tease them anymore.
P.S. Suddenly, Jeff found he has evolved...& he only realise it recently...

I Quotient
Took a short test to assess my I quotient and was surprised to learn the result coincide with my personal assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. Not bad with a Classic test score of 124.
The assessment goes like this
"You have a strong ability to process visual-spatial and mathematical information. These skills combined with your strengths in logic are what make you a Visual Mathematician. You're able to understand patterns visually and in numbers. That means your mind can create a mental picture for any problem. In addition to that skill, you possess an intelligence that allows you to apply math to that picture, too. That helps you manipulate multiple parts of the picture (or problem) to come up with a solution.
You have many skills that are critical to success and problem-solving. Your talents help you understand the "big picture," which is partly why people may turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. You flourish in environments where tasks are clearly defined, and you are a whiz at improving processes and making things more efficient. Your ability to detect patterns and your skills in math and logic, make it natural for you to come up with ideas and theories that simplify processes for everyone. Outside of work, Visual Mathematicians tend to do well at strategic activities like chess. It must be that ability to recognize patterns — both as they are and how they develop. Regardless of how you put your mind to use, you've got a great set of talents. You will be able to envision a clear path and calculate the risks, and more importantly, the rewards, of anything you take on.
& some of ur greatest talents r
Can give practical application to abstract thought - true
Can predict patterns - true
Are resourceful & practical - maybe
Envision the "big picture" - really??"
Not sure about those numbers, but the assessement is pretty much what u see as imagery in this blog. That explains a lot of things! Strange I was classified under Mathematician. Never really liked numbers?! In fact, I m a slow poke, n notorious for that too. I feel I am becoming more stupid the longer I stay in one location.
Regardless just another little tidbits to brighten up my day.

Back to mother nature
all that surrounds us is part and parcel of e planet we called Earth. one of these days when its augmented form is used and discarded, mother nature will reclaim it into her embrace.
From S.P.: A rose by any other name is but a rose.
that said, it doesn't mean we can abuse it indiscrimnately!
nature can bring inconveniences but humans can create calamities.

So much for a web addict.

Mummy's chick
U may think nothing of their existence but they are part of our ECO system. One lesser will tip the balance towards disaster. Like all living things, breeding and rearing young is part and parcel of its life cycle, just like this almost fledged chick. In a matter of weeks, we see a dramatic transformation from a hatchling into a feathered bird. That's the wonders of mother nature.

Fly pass BN
I am beginning to suspect each homosapien has a biological clocked that is tuned to the prehistoric times when the big bodies trot this Earth. So just why are some of us fascinated by these airborne feathered creatures? I have no answer. That imprint just resonate strongly within myself.
They make nice close up nevertheless.
P.S. Just spotted a huge dark morph SengKang pond. visually very awesome! like a black gargoyle perched on top of the worldtrade building.

run me
or rather i choose not. certain things are best left as it is, so is this case here. e biggest temptation in life is to change the way things are and mould it into one's imagination. Sometimes it works while other times it fails miserably. There are times when inactivity is the best reply and there are times when one must initiate a change. It's merely a matter of choice and making that right choice. But then again, what is the right choice? By which benchmark does one compare against?
Then again if one doesn't know what he wants, then what meaning does he defines his life? Sometimes, I feel Jeff's getting too sure.

Call me Miss, pls
e satisfaction derived from taking portraits of birds is one gets to understand its behavior and its feathers better. for this female magpie robin, it has entered a strange phase when its under belly turned dull orange. this is a first observation, perhaps attributed to the breeding season or certain excursion (genetic). there have been other sightings of such phase else where by fellow birders too.
so birding is more than observation. it's science.
