Honey-creeper
P.S. You can see the perfectionist in Jeff, although he himself is never perfect in any way. He always wonder how his subjects may be portrayed as art. At least now he knows a little, or perhaps he knows none...when he learns all, he forgets all. Let's hope this day won't come forth so soon.

my faith
by offering incense to the idol in the background, the subject in the foreground is paying respect to her idol. it's an extension of her spiritual being, trapped in a wooden body. each is a flesh and blood, an embodiment of filth. only the spirit is pure, for the rest are insignificant. for when one passes on, the spirit is preserved in perpetual.
P.S. on the seventh day of each trip, my mind falls into a chasm. all is bright, all is dark. a door awaits for jeff, patiently waiting. With the passing of each day, A.M. regresses into the nether region of his brain, in comes M. R..
On this day, Jeff puts a name to his character: "Dyslexic" or m i?:)

lichen
P.S. e she in context refers to mother nature. every now n then, i'll write n speak in riddles n sometimes, even my friends are left in e muddle. tis my little secret with her since young. fun to play hide and seek with her. she painted her art work and Jeff is out there to seek them. when he finds them, he is often amply rewarded. if u wonder why Jeff never get lost in a forest, u must learn he has a guardian watching over him. she leaves tiny footprints that only Jeff can see.
In normal language, it's termed primal instinct.

Magic hour
Didn't realise the magical aspect of this image until i viewed it on my screen. I knew there was magic somewhere but just couldn't pinpoint. At an accidental ISO1000 setting, the details and noise level (or lack of) is simply stunning. Coupled with the sinnuously shaped trunk and available light, it was twilight hour once again. I was elated beyond words.
Now I see. I have to learn to use my heart to see.

watchful eye
being a bird is tough. being a captive bird is even tougher. it has to endure the countless harrassment from curious homosapiens. in particular, kids like to disturb them. aunties like to molest their feathers.
it just take an incident to wipe out the whole species. how about a delicious eyeball meal, any bird pls??

reminescent
Jeff has snapped out of the bird photography cycle. he now sees avians as another form of living creature part of mother nature. he feels the spirit of the great earth and sees only one life form.
regardless, i will still remember the crimsons to my name
