Jungle Jewel

Like a tiny sun lighting up the dark canopy floor of the tropical forest. This beautiful bird is an Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher, a rare winter visitor to our land. Coupled with a buddy we went hunting and lady luck was definitely on our side. Soon popped this tiny little sunshine displaying it full feathers in all its glory at point blank. The wonders of Nature's work.
