Recovery

A while ago these oriental pied hornbills were experiencing super critical low population level at home when suddenly the population took a spike recently. Success in population recovery is attributed to continued efforts by the relevant authorities and nature society to sustain and breed the birds. Tis no wonder this male hornbill is happily ferrying lizards to feed the seal-in female in the nest. Lets hope this nesting attempt will be a success with fully fledged chicks at breakout.
