The name's purple

It was after midnoon dragon boat shoot when Jeff made his way to Mandai for the Heron nesting ground. On his way home, a storky brownish purple stick caught his eyes and immediately Jeff beamed himself out of the ride. Tis a Purple Heron fishing for dinner in the evening sun. The joy of avian photography is to watch them in their natural environment, unmolested and enjoy the frame filling elation of the avian bathing in perfect lighting. Beyond words.
While Jeff loves the wide perspective offered by the 5D, he misses his wendy badly, especially when he does sports and wildlife. The AF is just not there...curse of the Ds......... Yet for low light, landscape and street portraitures, the 5D triumphs.
